You might be over filling them a bit, do you bleed out much oil before
tightening the caps?
Too much oil and too much rebound of the shock shaft will put a lot of preasure on the bladder, bleed out enough oil to have a slow 1/3 to 1/2 rebound.
I also found the bladders swell from the shock oil so replace them every 3 months.

The main reason the bladders collapse especially on the rears is that the piston travels to far up into the cap and the nut pushing them to the top of the cap. If you run the truggy tower or limit the up travel on the shock it will stop most of problem or run the hot bodies bladders.

Yes I slow tighten my shock caps to bleed them. I run 3/4 rebound. I'll try 25% rebound and see how that goes. Thanks.

No one said it was an issue. THE CHASSIS ISN'T OPTIMAL; and the same can be said about the 6r's gearing, rear shock geometry, etc......but they still released it.

So if you or anyone wants to get rid of their headache, contact Bill over at BCE and take an X3 for pain.
And no, I'm not sponsored by Advil !
so funny John but true. motrin does the trick for me. for the 2 months i ran the +5, it was too assy for the local tracks we have even tried different setups. i went back to stock, felt better but maybe x3 is the ticket. can't wait for next season. just ordered x3 version for eco. will test it at ECRC.

Yeah I'm fully aware of that and that's what I meant. Mugen never released officially short chassis, but that doesn't mean that they never had proto chassis with that length and I'm pretty sure that it's stupid to think they never tried it (it's just different program in CNC mill afterall). All these companies have to lead extensive testing to ensure maximum performance from their products and it would be dumb of Mugen not to try what others do for their cars i.e. shorter chassis especially if there are people that like it.
Maybe it's just down to different track conditions in EU and USA that makes difference in performance of chassis.
Anyway I belive that option parts does what they are supposed to do - transform cars to individual needs and it's nice to have them.

I have tried OFN 41013 bladders. These also work perfectly and last! You get 4 at the same price. Try them.

+5 chassi all the way! I need all the length I can get. Lol I really like the stock long chassi and don't think I will ever go back to a short one. The 3mm chassi on the bce might be a better option for that chassi cuz its so much stiffer?

Good luck this season Donrod!!
