I think 350 is gonna be to light. I would go 450-400- or 400-350

When you guys are setting your buggy up for full droop, are you making it so that the droop screws don't hit the chassis at all?

350 mugen oil actually equates to something more like 30 weight oil. 35 weight is around 400 mugen oil like you stated. but yeah it took me a while to realize that they dont actually correlate exactly but here is a link for a useful oil converter.

no. i dont know about everyone else, but i pull the shock off the standoff and when the shock will go on and off the mount freely i then turn the droop screw 1/2 turn. i dont care for the shock to limit the travel with the weight of the tires/mud. its fine for 1/10 but not a 7/8 lb car/truck. just my thought.

I've found the car to run very poorly at full droop. Traction rolls easily and doesn't enter turns well because of too much weight transfer. That's with 350r/400f shocks on the soft springs as kits came with after the 1st update.

yep. try going up on the shock oils. 450/400 and the car will not transfer as much weight. m spec setup is good

Do you guys put anything behind the shock bladder? Those damn bladders always collapse. The only time they don't collapse is if I build the shocks for zero rebound.

i have used the foam that judo mats made out of 10 mm punch and glue behind them works a treat

I found that also... that was untill I had a chat with a little french guy at the national titles in Adelaide.
Please try running the shocks on the lower holes on the front and rear shock towers, 500 front and 450 rear if it is a mild day anything above 30 degrees in temperature I would go 550 and 500, FULL droop, 15000 15000 10000, front upper arms all the way forward, maximum anti squat, when chassis is flat on the ground -5 front camber and -6 rear, 2 toe out front and -2.5 rear, standard sway bar front and 3.2 rear, ride height start from 27 front 29 rear.
This setup makes the car very easy to drive especially on slippery tracks.
It would be great if other people around the world could try this next meet so as to get some feed back...
