you install the bearing without the seal? interesting. Also i guess the ninja will fit the extended motor mount as well?

So im starting to be convinced something is wrong with the tank on this buggy. I have replaced the tank, changed fuel lines, grinded down the pipe stay and some of the steering post and used long fuel line for the pressure line and i still have issues when the car flips over! It is not a tuning issue, i spent 2 hours today adjusting tune in hopes of fixing the issues and it was the same regardless.
The issue is that the fuel dumps back into the tank when the car flips over and it does this no matter what i do. I have tried just about everything. This is gettting beyond frustrating, and if anyone has any good ideas i would love to hear them!
I need all the help i can get at this point to not list it for sale and get an 808 or RC8B.

try a short pressure line. THat is how i have mine.

Yeah i have no clue what it is, i have the go tech 5 port, but didnt think a carb could cause the fuel to dump like that unless im wrong. Just not sure what to think at this poin other than its frustrating the absolute hell outa me.

If anyone could post some pics of there fuel line setups that would be great too. Thanks guys

air leak maybe?? does it still die if you try and blip the throtle?

Nothing is wrong with the tank design in the X6, there are hundreds out there with no problems, this has to be something in you're particular setup. Is it possible that you're cap seal ring is adjusted too loose/tight (the screw in the middle of the cap's underside pre-loads the seal ring)? Also try leak testing the tank under water, submerge the tank while blowing into one of the lines while plugging the other one and watch for bubbles.
If you changed the tank and your problem persisted then it's something else. How well does the engine idle when right side up?
Edit: interesting, I go the other way around. My fuel line comes out of the tank, around the pipe-side of the tank, around the front, through the filter and around the filter neck into the carb nipple, which faces back (easy to get ARO into).

mine is a shorter design. never had one problem with it.

Are you talking about the screw that tightens the carb? The one directly under it that when loosened alows you to move the carb? Sorry just wanted to make sure im thinking of the same thing.
I really dont want to think anything is wrong with tank , not to worry lol...i just want to figure out what the issue is as i am about as lost as possible. Thanks for the tips.

The screw I am referring to is under the tank lid, in the center. It allows you to loosen or tighten the seal of the tank lid. On mine, the tank lid was really tight, I had to loosen the seal a little because the tank wouldn't close all the way every time.
