New Jack: wheelies on command, I wish the T-Maxx did that. I did the port and polish like in RCCA all I got was more top end. Are any of you guys changing the endbells. A guy at my LHS said I should go down to the 18.
All I have done so far is changed the shocks to the aluminum big bores and RPM blue lower spring cups. Thinking about getting the Pro-Line kit soon.
Thanks,
Jon

Jonski: I hear ya about the T-Maxx not being able to do wheelies!!! I bet if you put a .18 or .21 in it that it will pull one quite easily!!!!! With it stock it doesn't quite have the Torque to pull up all that weight!!!
The Pro-Line Suspension kit is a MUST have!!!!!

I am going to get the Pro-Line kit tomorrow...LHS is closed today. They sell it for $56.00, where as Hobbytown is selling it for $85.00. Do quite understand that, but oh well.
Going to start painting up my Pro-Line PT Cruiser body soon too. That should make it look funny.

My LHS said it wasn't a good idea to go for a smaller clutch bell, even though I never get up to full revs in second gear on most of the surfaces I run on
No new servo (yet) I should get one because the stock one is not centering at all and jumps all over the place
I now have the Orion 1100mAh pack and it makes a massive difference to steering response. I also modified the stock traxxas switch to include a charging jack.
I NEED TO GET
18 tooth clutch bell
645 steering servo
mulcher or paqman tires
new body (what bodies do you guys like, I was running a 50's chevy pickup but it cracked and the wheel arches were tooo wide)

Some people at my club do a mass order every once in a while from Stormer Hobbies so the postage charge is small, I can order the parts then, I'm not in a big hurry. My LHS does a good deal on Traxxas parts and they cost about the same as they would in the US. Someone who I race with has got a good way to get a high spec servo, he bought a cheap coreless servo and found metal gears from another cheap servo and ended up with a servo worth £100 for £40, he's using it in his 1/8 buggy.
I can only get some of the trinity TC bodies at the moment, and they cost £20, $31, it would be about the same for a Maxx body.
I do have PayPal, thanks for the offer but I doubt that it would be worth the cost of shipping it over here, unless you have pigeons

CoastalTony: Have you painted up one of those Trinity Truck bodies yet??? Mine is still sitting in the bag untouched, I don't want to paint it 'til I get all my upgrades for my T-Maxx otherwise I will get too depressed seeing that nice body & nothing to run it on!!!!
, any luck on a Red or Yellow bumper, I have been looking for ya, but NO luck!!!!

No I did not paint it yet. I have 6
other bodies to paint. Now, I am
getting my NTC3's ready for some
action.
If anything, I will just get the
chrome RPM front bumper, it's only a
few bucks, and looks good enough.
I am thinking about posting my T-Maxx
for sale. I have way too many cars &
trucks.

I have no where near enough cars, I am concentrating on getting ones to race, rather than bashing. I have my maxx, which I race, my FT B3, my XXX-S, my electric rustler (which I used to race) and my Tamiya F103 which I race in Pro-10.
I need a nice racing truck for next season, which is best XXX-NT Drake edition or FT RC10 GT? (I have no AE or Losi preference)
I may get a 12th scale for the winter, probably corally
What % fuel do you guys use in your maxx's and for racing?

Gotta get a servo first
