If you're on a budget and don't want to take the risk then sell the Tekin for good money and get the HW 1/8 buggy combo for $135. Those ESCs are pretty much bullet proof and even if it does smoke you can get a brand new one for $65. Worry free driving, though probably not as buttery as some would like.

Got to run nitro today for the first time ever and I'm hooked!! Had a blast!! The kyosho handled good considering the track conditions and the O.S motor was easy to tune and run. Cant wait to go back!!!

hell yeah baby! Once I watched the NC on liveRC I was like 1/10 scale......whats that? LMAO!

I noticed most of the rain today was northwest of STL so i went by the track after work to check it out.......... Bone dry. Mother nature just flirted w us but didnt put out. Track is good togo for this weekend!!!

Sweet. Wasnt sure if it got hit with rain or not. How does the cold effect nitro's? Im new to nitro and badly wanna get some laps in tomorrow? Who all gonna be there tomorrow?
