my engine issues are finally resolved......Fusion X3 w/the the full Monty treatment. Novarossi 2096 pipe and a Novarossi compact 41029 header.....all pre-broke / race tuned and ready to go!

I decided to go with lipo direct servos for the first time ever, it will be the strongest setup I have ever had by far....Savox 1267/1268 servos powered by a Protek 2300mah lipo.

Im actually looking forward to nitro season this year as I didnt race at all last summer!

GL to the locals heading up North next weekend, wish I could go.

The burnt RX8 that was pictured not too long ago on this thread has had over a years worth of running and was ran a lot so I wouldn't be worried. Secondly I guess the Tekin motors have seemed to do well. I'm not sure about the LRP Dynamic 8 2200kv as I haven't heard good or bad about it. Since it is LRP I wouldn't imagine it would be a piece of junk. Personally I think I'm going to hold out for the Orion's to be available since many have praised them.
haha, ok THANK GOD!!!
and thanks for the input

Tekin People,

223 Firmware is available.

http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html

223 Has the following changes and improvements:

Improved throttle increases smoothness and precise control.

Improved braking increases control and responsiveness.

Customization now available with user-adjustable throttle curves.

Load, Save and Transfer your custom driver specific ESC setup profiles!

"ClubSpec" Spec Mode indicated by led's 3 and 5 flashing. Same as version 212 and selectable on the ESC.

Big Event "LockOut" Spec Mode, locks the ESC into Spec Mode and cannot be changed without plugging back into a HotWire. Factory Reset does NOT turn LockOut mode off. LockOut Spec mode indicated by led's 3, 4 and 5 flashing.

Active Braking: For boosted Touring Car setups that need super strong brakes, you asked and we answered. You can now have the brakes 212 offered for touring car by turning Active Brake ON/OFF via the HotWire.
