Finally! Amost have the car completed. Getting the body mounted and will make some initial set up adjustments. Going to start out with Vapourtrails set-up. Hoping to get the car on the track next week!!!

DCJ
Hello everyone,
I try to fit the DCJ into the TA07, but do I need another bearing to get it right ?
I have "problems" to fit the wheelpin shaft because it is to tight...

Yep you need to replace the inner hub bearing with the one in the dcj kit (1050 bearing but only 3mm thick)

You can move the motor front to back on the Top car just like the TA07. But unlike the TA07 that has it's top deck towards the outside where it can't interfere with the belt. The Top car will require a different top deck to be able to adjust the motor mount to a different location.

Anyone know if there is another place to buy the Techra suspension braces other than ToniSport? Also, what brand spur gear and pinion is everyone using? I was thinking of Axon spur gears, but wasn't sure which to go with for pinions. Also, is anyone using the ball diff in the rear? I want to simply because of the outdrives. Thoughts?

Im running one-way front and ball diff in the rear, this is a much faster setup but if you never raced with a one-way you got a big learning curve because you can just stab on the breaks. I don't know if the ball diff is lighter but I like the feel better than the gear diff, I do rebuild my diff after every 3 runs you don't have to do this I like to make sure that it stays consistent. I'm running this on asphalt, I will test soon on carpet.
