Time to bring this TA07 thread alive again. Built the F77 Exotek TA07 FWD Conversion using the latest TA07 & TRF420 parts. Although the FF77 is now discontinued, it's still an awesome beautiful piece of kit especially spec with the best parts (lots of blue Tamiya goodness). I chose Exotek knowing they make quality stuff that i've used before. And I wanted to keep my TA07 intact as its been properly setup, that's why I also chose to build from parts.

I've seen other brands like PSM and H2RD with other Tamiya FWD / FF conversions that you could try if keen.

This could be passed off as a TRF420F or an FF05 Evo. Come on Tamiya, build us one like this!

Enjoy the video.

Managed to get my TA07 with the RClabHK chassis running fine on super high grip carpet today. Gone are the days of oversteer. This car is a tank, if you are using the new TRF420 C hubs.
Finally ir's my casual racer again: put the battery, clean tyres and go.

Yes this is still a TA07 at heart...

Tamiya often refers to the chassis as a "lower deck". I did a quick search (TA07 lower deck) and found several chassis for sale, but they were all too expensive.

I use my old Corally RDX springs. Not sure you can find them anymore, but fit right.

For the super short big bore shocks, I think xray springs work. Has anyone deciphered the hinge pin puck system to determine caster and camber setup? I could use a tutorial on how to setup for 4 degrees caster and 3 degrees toe for the rear.

When not racing TCS I use wither SMJ or older xray.
