Wonder if the 419x bulkheads would drop in as is? Looking forward to getting this thing finished up over the next couple of days. Should be fun as I have all these goodies to drop in it.

Very nice!!

Man, that looks like a "hammer dropped" on the toe nail; blackened I must say. Sweet upgrades, was wandering if the Exotek hinge blocks would work for the TA07? Both split and straight blocks.

They do. And the new techra blocks will fit as well. I would really like a set of those, but I have all the blocks in need already between the tamiya and Exotek.

I am pretty sure that are not. I believe they are the standard size Tamiya shocks.

I don't think so. The length of the shock would require shorter towers I believe. The OG TRF shock design is fine. No need to change them out. Car is DIALED.

I ran Rod's setup as a base. For USGT tires I used HPI silver springs instead and ran a rear C block instead of D block. This was Outdoors. We will be running on Grey Ozite soon. Will again start in the same place.

I don't get why Tamiya didn't move the motor mount a few mm inboard? There is plenty of Tommy with some redesigned pulls layshafts. Maybe something on the next version or maybe an aftermarket part?

I would agree with you, but I wonder if it was done to help eliminate interference with the motor shaft. As it is now, many motors come in come very close to interfering with the belt. I know the last thing I want to do is trim some off to get it away from the belt.

Today i had my second race with the TA07 and the car was once again very stable and wel balanced om a high grip carpet track.
I only changed the droop from the last race and it improved my laptimes inmediately by 0.3 seconds.
I finished second but i drove the fastest laptime of today and i was the only one with a plastic chassis in the A-finales.
Very very pleased with this setup and the car :-)
This setup works great for me and it's a good starting point to go even faster,... hopefully

The Top saber single belt conversion motor is moved further to the center line. I had to shim the motor out for balance. So unless the motor is perfectly centered, it may be better not to close to the center line
