does the diving happen off power while initiating a corner? try less droop in the rear so there is less weight transfer to the front of the car during deceleration .... hopefully that will help.

Raincityraceway.com

They were in stock a couple of days ago. If they aren't on the web-site yet give them a call.

Any word on when aluminum rear uprights will be available?

What degree are the stock hubs?

Another thing, bunch of foam from the tires got into my motor and onto the side of it, my brushes then were touching the motor and it would not move/get power at all.

I moved the brushes and blew out the foam and sprayed it out with motor cleaner, it works now. Any ideas why it stoped? Any ideas how to prevent this from happening agian?

Mr. Barch,

You can glue the edges of the foams to stop the peeling or chunking of the foams. You can also put on the rim protector sticker, its the thick one.

Alright I will glue the edges of the foams, should I glue both the outside and inner edges?

I don't think I got rim stickers.

Here is my setup:

Michael,

The front diving in is probably caused by your rear arm mounting position with .75d of pro-squat, coupled with your front shocks being leaned in two holes. First I'd recommend either flattening the rear arms, or even flip flopping the suspension holders front to rear for .75d of anti-squat. If that doesn't fully cure it, you may need to stand up your front shocks one or two holes on the tower as well.

Any reason why you're using 0d front caster c-hubs or is this incorrect? It would also help if you filled in the inner (and outer for the rear) camber link mounting positions. What is 32 1/2 wt shock oil?

The grime might have burned onto the comm and prevented contact. I've had dirt/grime do that to my mod motors when running on asphalt at times.

The stock c-hubs have 4d caster. Is the tire chunking happening on the front, rear or both? The best way to prevent chunking is to make sure the tire is not riding on its outer edge at full lean in the corners. This effect isn't desired from a handling aspect either as it causes abrupt loss of traction. A slight setup change (probably increasing static camber by .5d on the tires where its happening) is probably in order.

I'm not sure who else has one (possibly Schumacher or Trinity?), but Losi has a 32.5wt shock oil....I'm guessing that he's using Losi oils...

The setups on the Xray site in general are based around the Xray oils (most using the 30wt that's included with the kit)...so that is what I personally use and they work perfect for me

I had thought about that. But with their oil being thinner overall than XRAY's, 32.5wt would be way to thin for foam/carpet racing. I was thinking more along the lines that maybe he had mixed 30wt and 35wt.

That will be a little too thin. For the TL stuff, look at the 45 to 60 range.

Well the T2 gives you 30WT oil...its thicker than the stuff XRAY gives you.
