Or do you recommend a low profile shorty to save weight?

I don't think removing the two screws to get the battery out will be that bad. Once I have everything together I'll see if there's another option.

I won't charge in the car...lipo bag only. Saw a lipo fire this weekend and don't want to be anywhere near that again (it wasn't me and no one was hurt at least).

I will now only charge in a Bag. One of the racers locally had his house burnt down because a lipo blew while charging

The car is working really well, switched side springs to gold to help with traction rolling, but it was on rails and it transitions so well in the low speed sections. I have never been able to race wheel to wheel with such ease.

What is the trick to getting the pin out of the diff side threaded axle and hub?

15 body apparently only fits with a low profile Lipo in transverse position. I would assume it fits with a normal shorty in inline position.

What type of track do race on? Carpet, asphalt?

Carpet,
If grip is good on asphalt my setup usually doesn't change much. Looser diff higher ride height.

Thanks for you help.
I think the kit setup should work really well on asphalt 4-5 mm ride height depending on how smooth the track is, I set pod droop at 1.5mm
Probably 1.5 degrees camber and 8 deg caster
If it's a low bite track and the car is loose run 5deg caster, and .5 deg camber
Not sure what to do with the reactive caster yet and I haven't tried short wheelbase yet.
I'll post more as I learn about the cAr
