I just bought a D sized battery and tried to make the motor spin with it. I can see sparkle coming from the lead when it touched the pole but nothing else happened. (Green negative cable was attached to the negative pole and yellow positive cable touched positive pole for less than a second)
I'd like to disassemble the motor to check rotor and stators. Is it possibile?
After the impact, prop shaft was stuck and didn't spin (when I was waiting for the battery to be shipped, I spun it by hand to see how transmission worked) but diffs worked fine (if i was turning one wheel, the other one was turning on the opposite side). I dissassembled all the car to check diffs, gears, etc. but it was just when I detached the motor that prop shaft spun freely even by hand. I can't see any damage to the teeth of pinion, spur and diffs gears

Diff alignment is right, that much I check whenever I tear it down to check and clean.

Are any of you guys/gals using your tt02 for drifting & if so what's it like? I've had a tt01d in the past & are now running a vintage Losi but obtaining parts is an issue. If anyone has any suggestion on different chassis please share - I've been drifting for almost 7 years so don't mind spending the coin provided it's not stupid. Unless I can get more parts for the current car it'll have to be replaced.

Hi all, I just picked up the Zakspeed Capri and have a question about the body. It is 9 pieces and the manual says to use double sided tape to put some of them on. I can't help but feel that this will look a bit wonky. Is there an epoxy that would work or would CA glue work on the painted bits? I'd really like to get this right the first time.

A good quality double sided tape will work & look fine provided you align everything correctly. But given time (years) the tape will break down & things will eventually move. Have just finished a new body shell myself - Mazda RX7 wide body with extra aerodynamic body kit. I used Uhu glue to piece them together but any similar adhesive is going to work.

ShoeGoo is the best adhesive for lexan bodies. It is very strong and flexible. It even works very good on the dry Tamiya lexan colours.
I use it for my Ferrari F1 bodies (and shoes xD). This stuff will hold it together no matter how hard you crash or tore the body.

Motor mount too is fine. It was just a little piece of iron wire between rotor and mangnet. Thanks everyone for helping me fixing it.

ShoeGoo is the best adhesive for lexan bodies. It is very strong and flexible.
Personally I like the tape method, its always worked well for me, looks good and doesn't ruin the surface. The tape should last a pretty long time and can easily be replaced should you need to.

Guys I have to change my tyres but I don't know how to rumove the old ones and install the new ones. Can you help me please?
Another question: how do I upload images? I click the "Attachments" button but an error message appears when I try to upload an image

Manlito, if the tires are glued on the rims you will have to soak the wheels in acetone to dissolve the old glue. I've never done it myself but that is what everyone says to do. I've always had off-road buggies so I always just get new rims along with tires. Never had a nice set of wheels before.

]roadblock you may also be able to use hot glue as well. I have used it on the rear panel of a hpi body to attach the bumper valance panel

Very nice rcmadkiwi! Does it have popup headlights? I have a Mazda RX7 body too and i used double sided tape but it doesn't hold the headlights for long time.

Pretty sure there's a size limit when attaching pictures to a post & if it's too large it will not work. The how to depends on what you're using to connect to the Internet & I can only comment on how to with an iPad/IOS.
