I don't know if you mean a 48dp or 64dp spur, but with 48dp a 81t spur is the max you can have. With 64dp it's max is with a 108t.

Hi Tell long time no here (I still owe you for those putnam brushes )
Yea have defected welll nearly as I have a Clonosi now Just finished the drive-shaft change (9616 & 7) and there is no chatter whatsoever I noticed that the hubs on the Losi R were a tad longer 1mm in total than the Clone, but then the hex is 1mm narrower so is the same geometry. I have also drilled a hole in between the original holes the longer arm on the Losi 'R' hub carrier to bring the steering arms back in line, and took a little material from the inside of the caster blocks, so as to not let the heatshrink tubbing on the U,J, joint rub on the caster. Here are some pics of th finished project and will be running it tomorrow night
Cheers Malc

Cool!

Whats the smallest pinion, and the biggest pinion I can fit in the stock motor mount?????

I need to get a 4.6 FDR, so I would like something that will mesh with a 47 tooth pinon, but I dont think that will work

But I can/will dremel the stock mount if needed

I just updated my blog with a few pics showing my latest mods.

I just won the latest national race, pretty easily too, so I am very pleased.

A 88t spur with the 47t pinion would give you 4.56. With the 88t you can fit down to 46t pinion, but it will barely mesh.

It wont mesh with a 47T pinion without mods. Dont be a butcher and get yourself a new pinion and spur

im using 72T spur and 36 T pinion giving me 4.67
