Yes, new longer belts will be available to compliment the 18T pulleys.

I assume they will be released at the same time as the pulleys, end of this month or early October...

I have a question about the differences between the Cyclone and the "S". I have an "S" that I have upgraded with quite a bit of 3racing parts. In particular I'm wondering about the chassis. Are the "S" chassis and the Cyclone chassis the same size/dimensions basically? My problem is that the steering turnbuckles hit the FR pivot block. It isn't that bad but I've tried some setups that require the blocks to be raised. There is absolutely no way I can do this... the turnbuckles hit the blocks so bad I can only get about 1/4 of the normal steering throw. Would a Cyclone chassis fix this issue? Any thoughts?

I know on the newer kits, the blocks are shaved

Mine are shaved out so the turnbuckles wont hit

Guys what is the difference with the stock 16t and 18t pully? what is the purpose to go from the 16t to 18t? do it make the car go faster or as someone state before it just free up the car, and do you put the pullys on both sides or just the one that go to the front diff, sorry for all the ????? but when learning about setting up a car all the info you get will help, thank you.

Hi Guys
Ive been an avid fan of Losi for years now, and was very impressed with the new design front drive-shafts on the Losi Type 'R' they came up with, to eliminate the chatter when using a spool, and to help stop the wear and tear to the drive shafts cups on the Clones and others out there of similar design (even though I have a Drill-Shaft-Tool to drill 3 sets of new holes so as to re-use them again and again and again)
I was looking at the 'R' and thought to myself they look like they might just fit and low and behold they do All you need to do is to remove/get the complete hub assembly from an 'R' including drive-shaft as it fits into the Clones caster blocks exactly, you need to put the ball stud under the hub carrier instead of it being on top,the only difference is that the ball stud linkage is in a slightly different place, but to resolve this, I reckon remove a shim on the Ackerman to bring the turn-buckles back in line, or drill another hole in the arm for the ball stud to line up. If this has been done before then I appologise as im new to the Clone

A larger layshaft pulley makes the drivetraing more efficient.
