Any of the factory guys know what the hold up is on new TC kits? Been waiting to get a fresh car for IIC in Vegas, been on backorder since mid June. Tower had them as late July, then early August, now just plain old on order which is a bad sign if tower is saying that.

Have to say been racing HPI since Pro4 first came out never switched to anyone else now run cyclone, must say most disappointing thing is parts support and the stock available. Frustrating at times!!

I'm not for sure if they have it instock, but you could try to call them to make sure.

Been busy working on trying to get a good setup put together for IIC this year. I spent this weekend really trying to get the car to work on our high bite carpet track with a mock IIC layout. Since I have seen people requesting a carpet setup I figured I would post a complete one. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Car worked well with both a spool and a diff, just a few less clicks on dual rate for the spool.

Dear for everyone, in case i finished already my race day.
I could tell everybody today i have broken 4 set reversible suspension arms.
Unfortunately mostly crashes are just little touch at the wall and some somersault without any serious impact.
I don't know why, but i am doubt about the reliability of HB arms in the case i am the only 1 Cyclone of the main race and i am also the 1 with most time crashed then stopped during the mains, i have seen the others guys with tamiya cars with serious accident even fly through the corners and straights, but the still run without any serious damage.
Could somebody tell if is matter to change using HPI old version arms instead those HB origins reversible arms in fact are too fragile, if i want to have a reliable car, please?

Best regards

After ongoing investigations, I went for the Futaba BLS 551.
It is brushless, low profile, plus good speed & torque (almost got a 451, but its not low profile).
Cheers

I have a Sanwa MX-3FG radio.

Maybe a Futaba of some sort?

The Sanwa servo's that came with the radio were functionally ok, but the teeth strip too easily.

Thanks

Only available online from A Main at present (everyone else is out of stock).
Selling for around US$85.

(2) Also, I just discovered a Hitec 645 in an old off road buggy at home.
Torque is 133 and speed is 0.2; slow-ish but I'm not sure how critical this is.
Not digital either.

Cheers

I'm interested in the main differences between the Xray and HB TC (hopefully you can answer without being beat up).

At my club, a lot of the guys run the Xray, however, (based on a web review, one other local driver, and "apparent" availability at the time) I went for the TC.

Thanks
