Using rubber tires and an Epic Roar stock I run a 21T pinion with the stock spur 84T. Think rubber tires are about 62mm diameter.

Thanks,

I'm getting my FK05 this week and was gonna pick up some of the Xray carbide thrust bearings. Are the one's they sell different from the one's they supply in the kit?
BTW these have been on the shelf before the fk05 came out.

My belts are in the loosest position front and one from the loosest in the rear. They don't feel as loose as my last XRay though. I've run them this way in both 19t and Mod without issue.
One thing I have noticed is that if you spin the spur by hand and watch the front belt...it will tilt from side-to-side as the pulley spins. Anyone else notice this? Any idea on how to fix it? I'm going to dig into it sometime this week.

Hi John,
Nice job! Your car looks really good with all of the red anodized stuff! Did you noticed any different in handling with the other servo position?
Best regards,
Jilles

John D.
Hi,
Nice looking install. is that a 9550 servo??? also what kind of speedo is that???
Dr_hfuhuhurr:
Hi,
is the belt moving from one side of the pulley to the other?? and does it do the same thing when you spin the spur gear backwards???
I had to tighten up the rear belt on both of my 04's as it would skip under heavy braking. I'm wiating for my 05 to show up so I can see how loose the belts are. ( so much for saving money for Karting
).
Thanks

Jilles,
you got pm
I have not tested yet this layout. I will do so in 3 weeks as I don't have much time to practice.
TimXLB,
Yes this is the Futaba servo. The speedo is the NOSRAM Dominator Evolution , same exact ESC with the LRP Q2.

Hi guys I'm new in here and have a couple of questions. I am going to start to build my kit in the next day or two. Is there any suggestions when I am building it? I have done a little bit of research. As far as the dry diff If I just put some extra lube in it I should be fine right? And as far as the axial thrust bearing issue. I dont know what to do. I heard peoples were exploding. Should I just not even put in the one that comes with the kit and get a diffrent one? If so what one? Any other suggestions about any parts I should stock up on or any other key parts I should get. I think I will get the p-dub front bumper any other Ideas. I am not the best driver in the world but I do have fun. Sorry for all these questions but I know alot of you guys have alot more experience than me. Thanks guys..
