My LHS told me yesterday it would be 12/1 for FT parts.

I forgot how we weighed our cars, but my TC4 was second heaviest to the Yokomo CGM...

Xray - 46.something
Losi - 46.something
TC4 - 49.9(OUCH)
Yokomo - 49.9(without motor cam, clamp, pinion gear, battery strap)

My car didn't have a transponder either!!! What's the Slim Fast diet for the TC4? hahaha.

Dave, do you have to go through Yokomo Japan to get Associated parts in Japan? Or could you get the parts from elsewhere?

Yokomo is the main disributor for AE stuff here in Japan...so pretty much they have the market on there stuff by the short and curlies ... so pretty much getting any sort of price break on the TC4 is going to be unheard of 39990 Yen or about 360$ retail..with a possible 32000 yen street price or about 295$ ... and don`t get me started on the price of spare parts

DAVE.

I see from your signature that the TC4 is up top, followed by the Pro 4, the 415 and the Barracuda.

Is that your order of preference? Sounds about right to me - possible a swap between positions of Pro 4 and 415!

all I have left are the shocks. Who ever is in charge of quality control should be fired! Hinge pin too long and I had to cut it shorter, silver ball stud hexes were not deep enough and I could not get the hex head into it, and no treadlock included. Frustrating to say the least and I won't have it up and going. Not much room in the cvd end and diff. Other than that the car is better than the TC3 and I did not have to sand anything. I would feel bad for any new person in the hobby putting together their first TC. I can't wait to get it to the track.
Apparently you don't read directions very well. You were supose to build the shocks first. And the directions tell you that the front and rear hub pins are short and long. I had no problems with the ball studs either. So I wouldn't blame the manufacturer for you not being able to follow directions.

Ouch,lol

I have been told that the stock diff. are steel, so if your running stock you could use the plastic diffs. and save a fair amount of weight right??

Alum. screws would help too...

Clearly, if you build the shocks last instead of first, the car will handle horribly.
