Hey xxx-s faithfuls. Are most of you running the blue 64 pitch losi gear or have you gone to the pulley adapter that allows you to run other branded spur gears? If anyone knows which is the best pulley adapter put the link here so I can check it out.

Thanks!

Hey guys thanks for the kind words. I try to do my best to make everyone happy. Just make sure you use the big pulley with the sedans.

Kraig...you rock....and your site and service cant be matched in my book..... PM me when you get just a black belt in with out the hardware.

Racer-OZ.....here is a link to the JETT racing adapters....they offer a 23t and a 24t pulley. I run the 24t it frees up the drive train a little more and these pullies are the best out there IMHO. The trinity one is a P.o.S. http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/index...a&filter_id=71

i now use the 128 kevlar spur gear, same as the blue one... i personally prefer the losi ones, over the pulley adapters, although there's a new adapter, that's a whole lot lighter than the alum ones from trinity.

Sounds like a bunch of SoCal guys are gonna be at the race this time

I just finished mounting the Alfa up on the new Losi, so I'll be running it at SoCal tomorrow.

Steve, if you need TQ sauce, I have it.

Remove the grease from the bearings. Remove the bearing sheild from one side of all bearings that are exosed to the elements and remove both sheild from those that are not.

Cut off every-other tooth from the drive belt.

I would start with those items.

That's just going to give you a lot of droop, more than necissary for anything short of off-road. You'd also have to lengthen your shocks just to allow that kind of droop.

Run the belt as loose as possible, it should skip 2 or 3 teeth under HEAVY braking
