You can use limiters in your shocks to adjust droop if that's what you're asking. On my car, I have my droop set to 4 in the rear and 2 in the front.

What colour springs do you use? I seem to have a lot of push in the front end.I have puple on the front and silver on the back?

If you're pushing you want to either stiffen up the rear or soften up the front. Typically, I always adjust the other end of the car that doesn't have the problem before I attack the one that does have the problem... The setup I'm running now as far as springs go is Blues up front and pinks in the back... This is for an indoor asphalt setup.

I should have elaborated more on why it's pushing but you may already know this... When it pushes, it means not enough weight is being transferred forward over the front wheels, so either the back is too soft or the front is too hard.
Also, if you haven't picked it up yet, the XXX-Main TC setup book is a must have. You also may want to check out what pivot blocks you're running... I'm running 0R in the back and 2F up front. High roll center up front and low roll center in the back.

Oh yeah, sway-bars help a lot to take the aggression out of the front or back of the car... Same as above, if your tail end is sliding around a lot, put a sway bar up front then try different sway-bar diameters to get the feel that you like the best.
I have a sway-bar in the front, but not one in the back...

I've been reading a lot about the new belt system for the losi xxx-s and would love to get one. the only problem is that I'm in Australia and it's hard to get the right pieces from any shops around. Does anyone know of any hobby shop in the U.S. that I could check out? I'm new to all this.

Lozi, With your kit you sould have gotten a droop guage (unless you got a used car and he didn't give you that.) On the droop guage are numbers, each signifying a mm of droop... Put the flat part of the guage on the bottom of the chassis and see what number the hub carrier hits at full bottom travel...

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but frankly, I don't have time to search through 300+ pages of posts to find it. I'd like to get back to basics for a while and talk XXX-S car balance.
I've recently noticed that my car is turning much better/faster in one direction than the next. So over the weekend I decide to investigate. I went out and bought a scale to weight all the parts of my car. Turns out that my batteries weight much more than my servo/receiver/speedo/motor/transponder does. (12.5-13.5oz battery compared with 10.6oz of electronic equipment.) Therefore I was having much more weight transfer on one side of the car than the other side. Also because of this, my right side had roughly 1mm less ride height than the left side. I knew this had to be the problem, as I've checked all other parts of the suspension and all four corners are are free moving, and all four shocks are built the same.
So the question I pose to the XXX-S community is this: To combat the weight difference, do you add weight to the left, or do you simply set your shock pre-load to compensate for the weight difference on each side of the car?
I decided to try option 2, and once I had my car perfectly set, with 5mm of ride height all around, the shock collars on the right side of the car had quite a bit more preload on the spring than the left side did. Is this the same thing the rest of you have found?

Yup. The batteries do weigh just a bit more then the electronics... So yes, you will notice a bit more preload on the right side to counter the weight... And it's not a problem.. Because you can put it on a tweak station and get the bubble perfectly in the middle if you set your shocks up correctly.
So yeah you did the right thing.
