Default Zero rebound

Hi,

I race on very high grip carpet and it was recommended to me to try zero rebound!! To do this i will have to drill a hole in the shock cap but i was wondering what affect this would have on the car, will it reduce the cars overall traction?

Hi AGNO,

Nicely prepared car. Good job.
I also have the smokem chassis but have not managed to test it yet.
I chose to install the original HB narrow chassis first to use as a bench mark.
Stock wide chassis was pretty good to be fair.
This is my latest installation:

Default IIC winning setup

hello all
I read the winning setup setup of hara (IIC).
"..Prototype longer steering crank used.." what it means?
He used new steering blocks 3 holes without shims?
Strangely he did not use the solution FR to enlarge the supports of the arms,
always been used by HB champions when they run on carpet
Please somebody have any photos of the car?

Thanks

He had a gear diff with #2000 oil in rear and a gear diff with putty (a bit of #2000 oil in mixed) in front.

Yes Hara's car had prototype steering crank with new 3holes steering knuckles.

For the FR block, he had +0.5 on his stock car.

Thanks,

Default gear diff in front

Hi,

Has anyone had trouble with the driveshaft blades breaking easily when you use a gear diff in the front?? If so are there any solutions to this??

I've been using TC6 blades BUT you have to drill them out for the larger pin diameter of the HB bones.

Spec-R blades, very low price and very durable.

I second this. The several pairs they give in the package justifies the price
