i like the car very much so far,
its nearly as fast as my yokomo out of the box (with the included yellow springs). its only 1/10 second slower on our local indoor carpet track i have to work a little on the play in the front one way (like dave posted). the building of the car is a breeze...... but be careful! don't hit anything, because after every hit the car has lots of tweak. tobias |

are the 3 center posts in the kit? i just have seen the big plastic part......
|
taisantobi- looks good, but if your carpet track has ANY traction then yellows are WAY too light. blues, whites or white front blue rear is probably what you need and 50/40 shock oil with 3 hole pistons. Start with yellow front swaybar and red rear then go up from there after you find the right springs. You might also try raising the rear roll center to get more steering.

Hi Guys,
Tamiya USA finally (finally!) received their shipment of EVO IV  we should get them sometime this week and be ready to ship by the end of the week or early next week. Steve Wang |
Steve.... will the spare parts be available when the kits do get in?
|
what spares do you need?
|
There has been a thread that's opened up about free drivetrains with people claiming that when the motor isn't attached, that they can blow onto the spur gear and the drivetrain will move, with the wheels attached and everything in some cases.
What is it like for other Evo IV owners out there??? Dave?? Any ideas?? |
Does Tamiya usually put out a TRF version after some time after a car's release?
|
lets play a guessing game
How long before the TB Evo IV is outdated? 4 more months |
