Supposedly it is lighter, but nobody's actually come back with any figures. I can't give any as no evo 4 yet.

Personally, I would always run with the diff covers. You never know what you're going to pick up in a race, even when you're in a supposedly 'clean' environment.

If you ditch them on the basis of weight, then you are already struggling.....

so the car is quite heavy if you consider all the optional parts that you have in the car to achieve that weight. Not surprising at all seeing the number of screws...

The Alloy up rights do weigh a bit.... but ..it comes to the weight limmit that I race at so ...it does the trick for me:sweat: :D

there are places to drop weight from the EVO4 though..;)

Ian, Tamiya this Saturday?

eeyan 07-22-2004 07:06 AM

Jeff... will sit this Saturday out. There's several big races this coming August, and I need to take a break first before diving head on... will probably practice for KO next week. I know Chris will be at Tamiya this sat though... you guys have fun!

OK, I've given in and ordered one with a Ti kit. When I know some numbers, I will post them:blush:

Ours (when it gets here) will have a hitec HFS35 receiver and a Quantum speedo, that, with Sanyo 3000HVs should bring it in at 1460 with the TXP:sneaky:
