Damn, I wish I knew that about the Square knuckles. I just ordered some Pro4 aluminum knuckles for my EvoIV. But I do this because I also use CVD's on my EvoIV now. I use the Pro4 spindle with Pro4 axles and RaySpeed SD CVD's bones. Works great. Can't wait to try this out with a spool for asphalt season in a few months....

I gotta admit, seeing the stainless steel hinge pins for the ends of the arms, they do look like they'll be good.

On another topic, what springs have people found generally work the best on the TRF shocks?? Especially in relation to the Evo IV. I've noticed a lot of people using AE springs but I can't get my hands on any of them and I have used some XRay ones and Tamiya ones. I like the smoothness of the XRay springs but I only have them in spring types for Foam Running. Gotta get some more for Rubbers, especially as in our state, foam racing is illegal in EP cars.

If you can't get AE spring... try and get HPI then. Alot of teams are using them as well.

battery holder

Hey you guys - is there any other way of holding down the batteries besides 1) using tape 2) using the stock plastic crap? Has anyone tried to use parts from other cars - like xray hold downs?

Loosenut, you obviously haven't read through much of this thread. Buy the Yokomo MR4-TC std bar or graphite bar. Its the same shape and I've never had a battery come out with that on my car. I have the graphite bar by the way. From Rainbow Ten the line should be:

3503435005258,YOKOMO,1380YEN,SD-118G MR-4TC SD LIGHTWEIGHT GRAPHITE BATTERY PLATE & MOUNT SET,

Not that expensive and it makes the car look very much the same, just with graphite. Make sure you put an Evo 4 sticker over the Yokomo writing though.
