I start my tires at 58mm for club racing... I think they work best between 56~57mm. Just apart of racing. Hope to see you back down here in the Spring for an asphalt trophy race Brain!

After tonights racing!!!!!!!!! YES. Well at least a break and I will be selling a few things. Both my nitro monster trucks, TB-02 and I'm pretty sure the EVO to. I'm cleaning house. No more carpet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad day racing.

Here is my day. Get up at 5AM. Shower, pack up and leave by 5:30. Went to carwash to rinse the salt off and then head to the track. Made it their by 7:30 and sign it. They had 16 heats of racing for the big race. Races start at Noon. Now the whole time I start feeling sick and then it hits. Migrane and then my nose is so stuffed I can think straight. After this it takes 3 hours a round to run. At 8PM it starts snowing and we still don't have the mains setup. I pcaked my shit with some other guys and lft. Got home at 11PM.

Now I'm still sick and my car sucked!!!!!!!! These guys run 57mm foams or less. It sucks cutting tires that small. All day my shit was slow and I have absolutely no rip. No speed or power at all. Brushes in one motor hung up twice even af I cut it on the lathe.

From now on its asphalt and thats it!!!!!!!!! Have no clue what I want but I will ponder that some and go from their.

Going to cycle my packs and see what is going on and see if they are bad. Then it will be a new speedo. First time I didn't have any speed, even at the start just no rip to speak of. I'm so frustrated right now its scary what I might start selling.

The bright spot is once againt he JR R-1 pro worked flawlessly.

Hit me up if your looking for some Ideas:sneaky:... and sorry about your bad day at the track

I had a bad day too:(

But I'm keeping my car. I like it:D

I also broke a front diff screw. I didn't have any spares but I found an HPI 2x25mm diff screw that is alot beefier and it fit fine.

EvoIV MS

woo hoo!!! :sneaky:

If that's true, I'd like to see if with the aluminum input shafts. It's a good tease though hehe. Another way to get the sales back up for the EvoIV I suppose.

Counter sunk topdeck. Would be nice if the TeamBomber mainshaft was included. If thats the case... then mine would become TCS legal hehe.... Clear cases are nice too instead of a limited Tamiya After series or whatever set. Maybe then I can find a set of them...

F. Alonso 01-30-2005 07:10 PM

Yeh, think that anything new for the Evo IV is good. Mind you..... I wouldn't be buying the Evo4MS kit as my car practically has all that already. I don't like how they package the blue alloy turnbuckles with the MS kits, as they just bend like butter.

The Blue Damper set is a welcome addition, I hate the fact that the std kit comes with the silver ones. If a car is so blue.... then make it all blue, especially if the price for Blue ones and Silver ones are the same price.

Is this picture actually a picture of a Tamiya Kit Dave or is this just someone else's car??

I'd love the countersink top deck but I don't know if Tamiya are gonna do it. I hope they do, then I'll get it!! The Blue screws are kinda funky, don't know why they'd do it though as they have that Ti screw set already that's silver. Maybe these screws are just alloy or something. Who knows?
