Not great pics, as the lighting wasn't so cleaver.

On a side note, has anyone (Paul??) fitted 64dp spur gears yet?? What's the easiest method. Looks like there is plenty of room (tried it!) for both Kimbrough or Xenon, just needs the holes countersinking/Counterboring.

I have a RW spur mounted in my car right now, 114. Looks like you can get 118 in the carpet spec.
You do have to countersink the gears , but i was told that Schumacher should have a fix for the guys running 64 pitch soon
The RW spurs work the best because they are flat and won't bow when you try to countersink them.
Hope this is what you were looking for

I just finished building my carpet spec EC and put a 118t RW 64p spur on it. It sticks down into the cutout in the chassis but it looks like there might be enough room to put a 120. Don't hold me to that though as I didn't try it but a 118t fits easily. I just countersunk it with a couple stone dremel bits.

Bob - The setting on the droop gauge changes with tire diameter. Set the car to have about 2mm uptravel and then take off the wheels and make sure it's even right to left.

I am going to keep my Mi2 even after getting the EC so as far as 64 pitch goes to get the RW spurs to fit what do I need other than the spur.

Jim, fair enough. I don't generally use RW gears, but i guess with them being so stiff makes them easy to countersink. I had a 48dp 90 in the car to check when i was building, that equals 120 64 Was very close to being right through the cutout, would be fine i would guess for you guys with an extra 0.5mm on the chassis, but not sure i'd risk it. 118 should be fine though.

Kid TT, that is Xenon tape (I think!), very strong, but very expensive.
