Default Motor heatsink

Any good ones to be recommened? I only have ones for motors which are mounted in line with the chassis and not across the chassis.

Cheers, Mark.

I couldn't find a heatsink that would properly fit in the Xray car without it hitting something. If you know of one, please inform.

Do it in a plastic bag.

Don't feel bad, I would have pondered the same problem and taken 5 years to come up with only half as good of a solution as the palstic bag!

Default Rookie XRay question

Do need a belt tensioner with the low ratio pulley set? I put a front one-way in my FOC with a low ratio gear on just it and the belt was really loose. Do I need a tensioner or will it tighten up when I put the rest of the gear set on?

Thanks for the help guys.

if it is too loose, just rotate the bearing cup in the bulkhead toward the rear of the car. that will tighten the hole belt up.
you only need a belt tensioner if you are too lazy to take the car apart.

the answer you will here on this forum is "DON'T!!!!!!!"

the car is nto setup for all the bats on one side. Remeber the cars like the tc3 also use the motor to counter balance the battery weight. with the xray, all you have is electronics. and most of us us the small stuff. So not much weight.

ahhh, that makes sense. I don't believe that you can get 6 cells on one side with the short arm config of the FK. Due to the moutns being on the outside of the bulkheads. I think the 6 cell holder was there for the t1 and evo2

Oh yeah...I have an EVO 2... right now its setup with C-Hubs on the front and pivotball on the rear. I dont think its the short arms. Could be wrong though.

There is so many things about this XRay I am not use to yet.
