Check your PM :).

Thanks , i'm so happy about the deal, went ahead and rebuilt the diffs. and took it out for a test drive today very pleased with the results , on the other TC3 I put a Spool in the front diff. case, has incredible punch out of the corners . I can tell a big difference in the two cars. RED

tc3 transmission

any tips to free transmission

primusblowsgoat 02-01-2005 08:40 AM

yeah knowing how to free up the drivetrain, would be very helpful

JWATT 02-01-2005 08:42 AM

Put 1 shim on the long side of the diff.

Make the cases so when the diff is installed in one of the halves, it will fall out (bearings are not pinched).

primusblowsgoat 02-01-2005 08:44 AM

shim where on the long side of the diff, behind the bearing? im confused

JWATT 02-01-2005 08:49 AM

Slide the shim on, then the bearing.
