TC3 owners unite...the power of the people.

Everyone, do me a favor and call or email AE with a request for info about any new TC3 updates! That should get them to do something. It sure would be nice to read something from them. My plan is to piece together a TC3, but I don't want to buy a graphite kit and then only to buy another updated chassis. :flaming:

They must be working on a new TC3.5 or something. No chassis pics of the winner from the Snowbird race. :weird: I read from someone that they were using a new chassis. I hope AE make the chassis with all the mods.

Interesting to note that Euro Champ Juho Levanen does not appear to mod his chassis to move the bats closer to center. There is quite a bit of lead outside the motor however.

This pic is from the LRP Masters held a couple of weeks back.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how they insert a photo into a posting?!?!

shortygy 04-07-2004 11:49 PM

If you want to attach a picture, when you are posting there is a button at the bottom. (Attach File) click on it locate the picture on your computer and attach it. If you want the picture to show up like the one 2 posts above, the picture needs to be on some sort of webspace. Either yours or w/e you have to link the image from another net location. To do that you click the (IMG) button up top when you are posting and enter the destination of where the pic is located on the web.

hope this helps you

Greg.

Cool, thanks, now If I could just figure out how to make my photos not excede the max file size, I could get really vain and start showing off my stuff!!! LOL

hahah almost there, all you have to do is shrink ur files in size. Even a program like paint can do it. Just make the images smaller and ull be fine.

I was thinking about experimenting with some ski wax....

In reality - no. Just clean your chassis off with motor spray after each run, as rubbing on the carpet will make it sticky.

TC3 Motor Cam Loosening

Hi all,

I had some problems last night running on carpet where my Cam would loosen and thus cause the gear mesh to be tight to the point the motor was smelling burnt.

I added a piece of double-sided tape under the cam and this worked but what about a longterm fix?

What does everyone else do?

Thanks

Java1970 04-08-2004 09:31 PM

Are you refering to the teardrop shapped blue (or black) thingy [I beleive that is the technical term for it]? I have not had one come loose recently sinced I switched to the newer version of the car. (From one of the first Racer kits to a recent FT kit) The new setup seems to work better now, just got to tighten it easy. Maybe trying to "scuff" the bottom to make the cam less likely to slip out. Otherwise, I'm certain someone else has a good solution. LOL
