Default bellcrank

Hi,
Does anyone know if TOP is making an aluminum steering bellcrank for the PHOTON or a tougher plastic one. This weekend there were four Photon and all suffered with broken bellcranks, and all the cars were equipped with servo savers.

Check to make sure that the servo and the bell crank are not able to touch at any point of the throw. The stock bell crank is plenty durable if the build is correct. I have three Photons all with the stock and original bell cranks. I have probably 350 packs on the cars as a whole running both carpet and asphalt and have not experienced one bell crank failure.

Run a kimbrough or TOP servo saver too, whatever you are using might be too hard and causing the breakages

I think you are giving me way to much credit on that one Thomas. But you have only seen me run asphalt so that may explain it.

Thanks though.

Make sure you're using the Kimbrough 201 servo saver. It's the mid size one that has different adapters for each servo type.

Default Gamma and Beta Springs

Hi guys,

I am running the asphalt version and my lhs has run out of the gamma springs for rubber kits... what is left are all beta foam springs...

a question: what are the differences between these springs and the handling characteristics... can i try foam springs on rubber setup and if yes, what can i expect the handling to be different from using rubber springs? my guess is that the difference will be minimal but i might be wrong...
