Thanks

I'm trying to get my car upto 1420. So far I've added about 65 grams of weights and I'm still at 1365. I have the carpet version with foams and it's crazy how many weights I'm gonna have to add to be at legal weight!

I'm using 30g of weights added to the front of the lipobar and the car is now almost perfectly balanced on all four wheels. total weight is 1357g witch is 7 grams over the minimum weight here. I'm using steel screws in the bottum and titanium through the rest of the car.

thanks, Danny

Default Flex chasis

I would like to know if everyone is using all the screews for the bulkheads or if you take out some to give more flex, which ones you take out?
Thank you

Hi,
I´m using all screws in the topdeck. I think the car has more than enough flex.
But i have a question as well: Whats the difference using 100% rebound and lets say 10%? I have always used 100% but no time to try out less....
Thanks for your answers.

What surface are you running on? The stock rubber car is outstanding on asphalt. I added the 2.5 lipo chassis to my rubber car and it is working extremely well on carpet with rubber tires. I'm not sure why you would want to add flex to the car.

lutz, 100 % rebound gives more grip than less rebound does.on a high bite track run less rebound, lower bite track run more

I'm looking for af foam chassis for my photon, but what is the big difference between the lipo and regular chassis? besides the missing cut outs.

And where to buy one in Europe? I have been looking at muchmore.uk homepage, but i think there prices is a bit high.

Thanks.

Søren.

Page 174 of this thread has Larry Fairtrace' setup. I'm running the same setup and it works great. I played around with different camber lengths and springs/oils. Worked my way right back to Larry's setup.

His original setup is posted on page 164. Front spool: dash down two clicks forward. Rear diff: dash down two clicks back.
