curious.. why does HPI call their tyres 60D when they're 55D in reality?

I think the Cup racer tires are 60mm while the x-patterns are 55mm?
I usually use RP tires so I wouldn't know

Tamiyas M Chassis tyres and rims are 60D and measure that.

HPI calls the cup racer slicks 60D however I recall Andy saying they're 55D and so are the rims.

RP's are 55 I guess too?

Were running them "box stock" with the laydown shocks and they handle great here. Awsome car for asphalt. You'll have to dial out a TON of steering. Can't wait for them to come out with harder tires though.

lemme go over what i have on mine..it was a pretty decent setup for asphalt/parking lot

yeah, the rear should be softer then the front, but not too soft since that may cause the front wheel to lift on turns (which I had issues with)

Is PRO 4 diff direct fit in the rear? Could find a complete D4/Cyber 10 diff parts in a single shop. Unless you guys know where I can buy a complete set. I don't feel like paying shipping charges to 11 different shops in order to get a complete diff parts.

Hey Kit - yes, the Pro4 gear is a direct fit. you just need the correct bearing that the Pro4 diff uses, but other then that - the gear is a direct swap for the metal gear on the Cup Racer

I had one in my Cup Racer at the Ray Murray's HPI Challenge

Thanks. Perhaps I didn't ask the right question. Will the whole assembly of PRO 4 diff fit in the rear? Say, I take the diff out of my PRO 4 and will it work?

I can take it out from PRO 4 or buy a whole set from Tower.

Couldn't find D4 diff. I may have to rob the diff out of my Cyber 10 that I won from HPI challenge.

Pro4 complete diff is kind of narrow. The dog bones have a chance of falling out.
