Just out of interest, do you have any detailed pics of it?

Hi Ed,

unfortunately I don't, but I have seen this kit in person. The quality is superb! One thing about Dave Jun is he really takes his time on the design and production details of his parts, whether it is prototype or production. This kit actually took a bit longer to produce than originally anticipated, but looking at the finished product it was well worth the wait

I'll see if I can get him to send us more detailed pictures and we can post it on here and also setup a pre-order for it

12.9 something is hella fast and he did a bunch of 13 flats to back it up.
12.95 from what I understand is the new track record, and it was done with the spool. Also, some of the local guys that are running 19T in preparation for the Reedy Race also turned really good lap times with this suspension kit on, faster than last year's Reedy time in 19T

Hey Steve, I forget, what was the fast average lap times for 19t at Reedy last year?

Low to mid 14's I think. 13.9s if you're ballin, 13.5 if you cut the track

Steve,

When do you think you'll have the DJ suspension set available?

But Steve, aren't we using different tires for this years Reedy race? Could it be possible that the new tire has contributed to the faster lap times also?

Hi Ed,

Should be next week. Maybe I can also invite Dave Jun on here to answer some of the questions you guys might have on this suspension system.

Just a note, Dave Jun clicked off one of the fastest lap time ever at the Tamiya track on the Reedy layout (12.95 is what I heard) and that's accurate off the AMB lap counting system. So there is something to be said about this new suspension upgrade.

Speed Tech R/C LW 415 spool available now!
What kind of setup was he running?

Is there another suspension conversion coming out?

LOL...Like Tamiya ever posts setups??

It would be great if the Pro Tamiya drivers setups were officially posted somewhere. Pro setups definitely help as a starting point especially since most racers don't have the time to even find a decent starting setup. I'm sure it'll happen soon enough on the Tamiya website.

Hmm the outdrives aren't 90degrees from each other. Will this affect chatter?
