Anyway, got back, and thought i'd post some pics of my car, considering every one else has been recently....oh and i had my camera handy
first up, general car view
Next up, lovely new alloy rear hubs
Diff covers
And finally, how I'm running the front end at the moment. Rack is as low as poss, with 4mm of shims to bring the ball joints up. Also, running B/XA combo for the suspension blocks, hence the flipped block.
Anyway, on the point with regard to narrowing the car, I tried it myself today.
All I can say is awesome, the car was just soooo responsive, and i didn't make a single setup change all day. Really pleased with the way the car was working, only slightly unsure if it was the best thing early on given lower grip. In the final though it was awsome.
Now if only i can sort out my qualfying performances.
Bring on the next BIWS round
Later

TryHard - I found the car was really hard to drive when the grip was low with the narrow suspension, but as soon as the bite came up the car just worked. I couldnt have asked for much more out of the car yesterday, but I'm going to make some changes and see if it will get better yet

Are you guys narrowing only the front, or both ends?
I have been running a narrow front end and love it so far, using double X blocks, with the rear std. I have not tried running narrow rear as well. I will be ordering those new blocks soon to see what it is like when it is even narrower still.
