Yup, corner exit should be the same as a spool, but no front brakes and looser on entry. I might be the wrong guy to answer though, never had any luck with a one way. Rarely see the Xray team guys runnung them.

Thanks
It looks like Nexus had a few today but are now sold out, anywhere else?

I had a similar problem on the FK05 and loosening the rear diff solved that. Anyone got a tips to try as a starting point. Its so bad i was only getting 14 laps when i can get 20 with the old car but the 009 is a lot faster on the straight.

The 009 is a great car! The rear end is a little looser than the 007 but it is fast. What I did was run a 1 mil shim on the rear hubs. I run the camber links long and low. Also you can run 5 dropp in the front and 4 in the rear. A little droop in the rear will help keep it down. I also run 2.4 springs all around and that gives me good traction. When the traction goes up I run 2.6 springs all around. I also run no sway bars on low traction and run sway bars when there's high traction. We do a lot of low traction asphalt racing here in So Cal and this car is dialed. It's all set-up and when you find it, you'll win a lot of races. Check this site for set-up help:

If you search my name you can try a fast So Cal stock or 19 turn set-up.

Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a set of alloy shocks for the 009. At the moment i'm tossing up between

308306-O XRAY T2'009 Alu Shock Absorber - Set - Orange (2)

or

Tamiya TRF 84008

The Xray are a bit pricey and the Tamiya ones are a lot cheaper but not sure if they fit or work on the 009. I've heard a few ppl use the Tamiya ones in their 008 and had good results.

I would appreciate your input on which one is better for the 009? or any other alternatives.

Thanks in advance

You could always try out the RCAtomic alumi shock bodies. Think those go for $15 a pair.

ebay =). I forget which of the HK sites here has them but they list on ebay all the time. rcatomic.com is there site, and I think RCMart is the HK site.

You can also get a full set of the 008 front/rear swaybars from them for $15. They work.

You can use the 07 multidiff but you have to shim the pulley 1mm (I think or maybe 2mm) away from the main axle.
