I designed them in Tinkercad and printed them on my Creality 3D printer. My wheels are the HPI F10 hubs that have double-spokes. I printed 6 posts on the underside of the wheel cover so that it would slot into the spokes in the wheel. Still trying out a few other designs that don’t involve the spokes and would be secured down with the wheel bolt.

For the rear wing light. There are several kits for different rear wings The Montech 17 and 22.The 17 now comes with a piece for the center light. there is a universal and one specific for the 22( fits the wing perfectly). I will have 4 for the 17 and 3 for the 22. It takes about a month to get them but if you have a request let me know tonight .

I run the Xray worlds body/Montech F18. Wings I use again the XRay/Montech wings either the 17's or the new ones. On the new one's boil the front wing for 10 minutes and you will need a spacer because it is narrower on the tongue (I made some). also if you like realistic rear lights that work only when you use the brakes send me a note. There are two different models for the Montech rear wings. You send me an email address and I can show you mine F18 bodies.

Thank you. That helps. Another question. Anyone have a file to print so you can run a full size low profile servo on the car?

If you run the sanwa servo as the directions say it works great. If you have the M17 there is an adjustment for the servo speed but I don't know how to do it. There is one guy down here that sets that up for me. Now if you are coming to the Nationals he'll be there!

Servo speed is easy
Setting - ST
Speed
* Forward - adjusts the speed as you turn in - negative value = slower, positive value = faster
* Return - adjusts the speed as it returns to center
Point - 100%
In/Out - In

I found this very helpful when racing fast Mini Zs as they can be very quick reacting - typically I'll go -20 / 0 and adjust from there.
It can also be helpful in F1 when conditions change quickly and oversteer is a problem - kind of like dual rate, but you don't lose throw

Brand new to F1. Can someone point me to a F1 rule set for North America? Primarily interested in minimum weight rules (if any).

Thanks,

I doubt that there are places running F1 lower than 1020grams, eventhough weight does not seem to really affect the car's acceleration under 1200grams...I had my F1 accelerate quicker at 1084grams than 1050grams on crc black carpet: must be wheelspin or something...It is all about putting the power down as quick as possible with the much higher torque brushless motors that won't bog down much with 100+grams extra to move.....
