Hey, anyone have any gearing info for a 13.5 and a 5.5 turn motor?
Also, i run on a high grip asphalt and carpet track, running only rubber? hows setup out of the box?
Also, i cant seem to find a manual to download, i only found one, but it was very brieif, and didn't really show much on how to put it together? Hows the manual that comes with the car?

tim,
Gearing: I use a 4.5 FDR with the 13.5 (96 spur/44 pinion). For the 5.5 I would start at around a 7 FDR and gear up from there.
The manual uses CAD drawings and the steps are numbered for execution. There are no set up tips, hints or suggestions. I found that this was one of the easiest cars I ever built, everything fit pefectly (with the exception of too much thread lock on a couple set screws).

Perfect advice! I also trimmed the lower shoulder so the pieces met at the top and bottom of the spring retainer instead of just at the bottom. It helped gives me all extra space I needed.

I'm thinking of getting a E4RS. Just want ask:
Can I use the front Spool(503234) that comes with the kit and put it in the rear and buy a separate front one-way(503131) and use it for the front? It's to be used as a drift car.

the rear diff pulley is on the center, the spool is off to the side , the belts will not line up in the rear. The best thing you can do is to make the rear diff a slipper spool.

My apologies but mind explaining what is a Slipper Spool?
I basically wna tot set it up like my other cars. Front to be running One-way and the rear to be on solid axle/ spool. Team Magic don't manufacture these items?

sorry , in the rear diff take out the diff balls out and glue some header card( business card) to the diff rings then cut them to the same diameter as the diff rings, then tighten the rear diff and you should have a rear spool.
