Anyone know when the 3racing gear diff is stocked at the online shops?
They have it in parts on 3racing website, cost a little more.
Want it for both M05 and M06.

Hey guys, I have a couple of questions. First off what is the difference between RC CVA Super Mini Shock Unit (Item #50746) and RC CVA Mini Shock Unit Set II (Item #50519)? Will they both fit an m04? Also what are the dimentions of the blastic bushings in the kit. The best I figured was 5x11x4 (innerDiameter X outerDiameter X width). Thanks!

The super mini has a smaller oil reservoir and allows more travel compared to the mini shock unit. Go for the super mini. You can always limit the travel by adding spacers inside and outside the shock.
If you go for the mini shock unit which will have limited amount of travel when installed on the mini and should you actually require the extra travel you would have waisted your money!
Alternatively go for the TRF's or M chassis ali oil shocks.....worth it in the long run!

The 3 racing gear diff DOESN'T fit in the Mini .... yet. Stay tuned to see if we can get it to fit with some modifications to the gear set

It is designed to fit the Sakura FF .. their FWD car.
It has the 39t tamiya pitch diff. The only issue is it is narrow so would have to be shimmed properly. Also the sealing of the gear diff is level with the gear teeth so it jams the long centre gear of the Mini. Possibly cutting off some of the teeth of the centre gear will allow it to be used. As I said, stand by for further information as we are seeing whether it can be modified now

Because it is happening one or two laps in to a run I wonder whether it has something to do with the balance of the car changing a bit once the tyres come up to temperature, and exposing the straight line problems.
Tell us a little about your setup and track and we might be able to identify the problem.
Pay attention to the steering linkange, not just the front arm wiper but all the way to the servo saver they need to be smooth....
Thank-you all for a really fast reply.
Set-up straight out of the box (its my first build)
Servo spektrum Z590 (Dx3)
Track small concrete floor painted with floor paint.
My only hop-ups are a complete bearing set.
kit tyres, (rubber)
Hope this helps
Do you think i should hop up the steering ?
