54182 Adjustable Upper Arm Set for M05
Hi guys,
Can you use the 54182 to replace the C18 parts (front upper arm) of an M05? I was hoping I can use it so I can adjust the front cambers, but it looks like the 54182 set is longer in length than the C18 even without using a spacer. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Does anybody know if the Tobee spur gears fit on the m05? If so which pinions do you need to run?
Thanks in advance, Jeff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wYvAWihWWs For M03/M05 you will probably have to use 21T in the 20 holes. |
Thanks again for the help guys. The feedback is very helpful.

Futaba Fasst 603FF/FS ???
Can you run a Futaba Fasst RX with the stock Tamiya ESC? I have heard it puts out too much current or something.
Thanks |

And while I'm here, I haven't checked to see if its mentioned, but HPI are remaking the X-Pattern tyres in belted and non-belted form. :D |
Hello all, we are having an "M" class race at the Mushroom Bowl and i've neglected to let you all know about it!
We will be having multiple "M" class trophy races throughout the year both indoor and outdoor. I'd also like to inform our local M community of races you all are holding across the country and world so please PM me with dates and i'll put them on our track calendar (www.mushroombowl.com/calendar) Please check this thread for details: http://www.rctech.net/forum/racing-f...owl-event.html specific to you: Just wanted to point out that our open mod allows ANY "M" class chassis!! That means you can bring out the Tamiya mini's and all the other brands and cars out there. Our track has recently been updated and we have 7.5' lanes all the way around and an almost 90' back straight! You'll be able to wring those mini's out! We have trophies for this event (we have them already ) and will be giving away prizes and gear from our sponsors!! |
Thrust bearing grease?
I just assembled my M05 ball diff, with ceramic balls and the 416 nut, using AW grease inside as suggested by Cal, but I don't have any specific thrust bearing grease.
Is it really essential that I buy some tomorrow or is it ok to use AW grease for this? And why is the 416 screw not being used as well as the nut? It is only 3mm shorter and seems long enough to use? Thanks :) |
AW grease should be fine, minis don't go that hard anyway.

Not sure what everyone calls em elsewhere in the world, but here in Australia we call em 'Mustang Celicas'
And if you want one, ABC Hobby will be more than happy to oblige http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/p...ini/Celica.jpg |

Ball diff movement
I have just installed the M05 ball diff but it moves about 5mm side to side in the chassis / gear box. :weird:
I can't see that I have missed anything in the instructions, but I can't believe the diff is meant to have movement side to side  This isn't normal for the ball diff is it, what have I done?? |
