Up to the minute info on new releases is posted there, including pics.

Another cool aspect of the new Cooper S is that it should come with the lightweight carriers & hub bearings, same as the Swift & beetle. This is an assumpton of course, but surely all of the new M kits will have them now, wouldn't you guys suspect?

Our back straight is our signature feature that is loved by all of the racers, and it is almost 140ft.....does that qualify as a "really long straight"? We will be changing the layout next month after our Holiday Race that we are using to raise funds. This track has been dormant since Hurricane Wilma, and a few of us have, out of our own pocket, been getting the track presentable and raceable, but not where we want it.

I would love to hold a TCS Regional on this track, and I feel Florida deserves to hold one, so why not us? Besides, truth be known, I am really promoting Mini because.........well, because I want one for me!!!:sneaky: I pushed for Porsche Cup, we now have Porsche Cup....I pushed for F103GT, we now have F103GT......see? there might be a pattern developing......

YGPM Just checked my messages today. Sorry to take so long to answer

No kidding... I keep checking the website -> http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58400

towerhobbies.com has an availability date for the lightweight Rover body & the TRF416 listed already, but no kit # 58400 yet :(

Does the Novak race always have a Mini class? Looks like they're running Novak 17.5 brushless motors. What does everyone think of that motor in Mini's? Not that Mini's need anything since the Silvercan and Black Can motors are cheap as dirt and work just fine.

Mini- Spec Gear Ratio Novak 17.5 motor. Loaners will be available for those without systems.

The Novak race has always had the mini class as part of the race. It has always provided a releif from the intense competition of the other classes even though this is a pretty competitive class at this race. From what I hear about the 17.5 in the mini is that it seems to be the same as a good silver can motor. I think the 17.5 motor in the mini will take all the motor tuning tricks out of the equation and make it a drivers race. Should be alot of fun watching and racing in this year. I might do this class this year and maybe the Masters class as well.

I think it's gonna still be a little too much motor.

Core, just make sure this combo would work we tested a 17.5 brushless in a Mini at one of our Tuesday night club races and like Larry said it was very close to a good silver can. Very driveable, no problems with wheel spin or excessive tire wear. This will be an excellent combo for the Novak race. It takes it from a motor and batteries race to a set-up and driver's race like the Mini Mayhem.
