However, the marbuchi motor does not use that much, I only have to put in 1000 amp?charge after 10 mins of full throttle driving on my Lipo 3200.

How many amps do you charge the 4200 sticks? My pack Peaks at around 4300 and 9.03V. I use a CE GFX turbo 35 at 6 amp and still no punch. I discharge at 30 amp to 0.9v and I only use the pack once each day.
This sounds a little odd. I charge at 6amps also and my pack peaks at around 9.45v. Check your peak detect settings. We ran the 4200 smc packs against the Peak 2400Nicds, and found that they run pretty much the same, because the 4200 had more voltage, but weighs alot more than the 2400.

The 4200 stick pack weights 445g, the 2400 nicad weights 315g.

I think the winning car @ the TCS Nats was a M04M (miata) with the newer M03M uprights and hubs. I think it also used the TRF414M type lower kingpin in for all 4 kingpins.

Why would you call it cheating??
Funny thing about your comment is that it replaces the TL01 B parts. Both the M03 and M04 cars use it, so why is it illegal again?

well to some that run the mini
its a class where you dont have to buy a lot of hop ups
but i know to the ppl that want to will try to make the mini go as fast as posable
with the best handling.
to me run it out of the box,put oil shocks on it and maybe a one way and go.
the cheap oil shocks not the $100.00 ones.

As for me the One Way is illeagal, never made for a mini! never been listed by Tamiya as a hop up for a mini. Just allowed by the canadian TCS organizer. However what you said has great merit. A spec mini class would be fun. Plastic shocks, radial tires, bearings, gear diff, silvercan motors, and 1500 batteries.

I like that idea except I'd allow TRF shocks because everyone needs some bling and I'd say LiPo rather than 1500s with 10-15 minute mains. I want to race longer..get my money's worth.

M03R release is March 30th according to RC-Champ. They already have pre-orders being taken now. Though they don't really know what they're going to charge. Tower has them marked as $169 so RC-Champ will probably be around $120 shipped.

Champ shows the price at 11700jpy, equates to about $99, and this was the amount of shipping quoted me on the M04 Beetle...

Shipping charge 4700Yen
Paypal charge 1014Yen

totalling 17414, or about $147.

the shipping charges really turn me off to Champ lately,
mainly just use them for the early release....

it will be pretty easy to use one of those discounts from Tower and get $20 off, so i think ill wait....

The secret with rc-champ is to make sure that you can spread the freight over a number of items. 2 M03R's isnt twice the freight so that helps..

And if I order a car kit (some sort of Mini of course!) then I'll usually add a heap of other stuff (hot ups, tyres, etc) in as well and they just chuck it all in the same box. Add that to the fact that Champs price is usually dirt cheap anyway, and it means that I'm still way in front.
