Wait, so you changed the mounting from the top screw hole to the hole directly below it,
And that gave you a lot more steering??? I found that it affected my front roll centre. The front would roll more effectively and allow the car to turn sharper, while carrying more corner speed. Similar effect could be achieved by using an even softer front spring, but this would then affect corner exit speed in a turn that required brakes, and overall acceleration might suffer in an M05. Similar effect could be achieved by using a softer front tire, but this would lead to more tire wear, and upon initial/mid-corner, the car could literally be "scrubbing" off speed. YMMV |
So you lot in the U.S.A use 21t with fixed gearing ?

My friend is coming from Japan next month and was asking what I'd like him to bring to the US.
Besides the big bore damper sets for my M03 and M05, and my usual Rover Mini wheels, what other items would you recommend for my m-chassis? Any tools? :) |

My friend is coming from Japan next month and was asking what I'd like him to bring to the US -Some PSVita games ...specifically "Yomawari", "Steins;Gate 0" and "Kamen Rider but ride war creation" come to mind. also, many copies of "Dead or Alive Extreme 3" -so I can resale most of them for a profit. ...actually there are hundreds of Vita titles in Japan only ...so whatever he can get. -a 1970's Nissan Skyline GTR -some Gundam models. -An Asimo robot those are just a few things that come to mind ... ;) |

Hey Jim what are these "shorter arms" from tamiya that are being spoken of? Are these worth the $?
So I'm going with the kyosho 300K oil for the front diff. Got it for 15 bucks shipped from banzai hobby. Thanks to monkey for that help! |

I believe he was referring to the holes in the chassis where the upper links mount. This will probably give you a little more static camber and increase camber gain. I'm using the 0.5mm shorter upper arms Tamiya offers. The effect is similar, but I don't think the camber gain is as great.
These arms are the ones I'm talking about lol half mm shorter upper arms? And the shorter arms result in more gain in negative camber? |

Drop the camber link to the lower and you'll have very close to the same net effect. |
