Never have understood why the 04 and 06 are treated separately, sometimes, but not always.

Is that a FWD Tamiya m-chassis (M01, M03, M05)? If so, yes, this is the thread. :)

RWD Tamiya and M-Four have their own threads, TOP Racing and ABC m-chassis have their own threads as well.

You bet. Still love the M03 but I had a M05 and liked it also. Unfortunately sold that one some time back.
Anybody have or know of a decent 05 chassis for sale ? I looked in the classifieds but not much there that wasn't already sold. I'd prefer a factory upgraded chassis or something upgraded but TCS legal. Feel free to PM or Email.
I guess it's time to start reading posts. It's been way to long between visits.

Does anyone know if the Yeah Racing rear suspension plate for the M05 is any good? I've got 1.5* on the rear uprights and 1* at the stock plate right now, for a total of 3.5* rear toe. Need to knock that down a little, don't want to pay Tamiya pricing of n this part.

Check with Sagadsetup he had a M05 with a bunch of factory hopups for sale a while back. He might still have it. :)

Tamiya Worlds M-Chassis 2015

World Champion is Kang In Mo (Korea). I raced him in the Asia regional and his pace was 0.2 sec/lap faster than me. Super fast driver.

I think this is the first time a non Japanese driver has won the M-chassis Worlds?

All A-main seemed to use Mini Cooper S (long).

Where are you folks buying the Shimizu tires? I checked this morning and TQRacing is out of stock of the 55mm HARD compound I wanted. :(

There are some on Ebay. I found one pair was from Speedtech RC. I would not order from them right now. I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and I eventually received an email from the owner, who said he has long term illness and would refund my money which hasn't happened. There Shimizu mini tires on Ebay from RC mart in Hong KOng

These are vids from the Tamiya World Finals 2015... I was there to witness it.. ;)

Good drive and consistency from Kang. Well deserved win.

Looks like they went with no traction compound again. I'd love to see that happen in more races. Too many chemicals in my life already!

KA2AEV 11-30-2015 05:21 PM

Well Tamiya went and did it again!
For the 2016 TCS season it says we MUST use the REEDY 21.5 MACH 3 motor
with 273 stamped on it!

Come on Tamiya WHY???

monkeyracing 11-30-2015 05:33 PM

The spec 16T is out for mini? That lump was perfect!
