Ok guys just got my first mini cooper m05 pro. Well lol I decided to do something stupid and test it out lol and with in 4 min. I broke the plastic shock cap or damper cap lmao. Well looking at the upgraded dampers and just looking to find out any suggestions on what ones are the best and what ones I should actually get . Thanks in advance guys

Best ones are the short Tamiya TRF dampers (#54000), but the Tamiya CVA Super Mini is an equally usable alternative (#50746).
If you have an M-05 Pro, you probably have the clear versions of #50746 on the car already, the clear plastic is known to be fragile, so you should be able to replace just the bodies with the black ones. Not sure of the part numbers off the top of my head though. |

Intellect 3800. Fits great with the standard battery holders, no offsetting required. Looks terrific. As I said the problem is with the wires coming out of the end of most batteries. It's still a good idea to offset the battery to balance out the motor weight. I checked my usual suppliers and could not find this battery listed. Does anyone know of a source in the USA ????? |

Ok , after a lot of searching I finally found them in stock in a company that won't take 3 weeks to ship from Hong Kong to new York. Man tamiya parts are a lot and not so easy to locate. Any suggestions on where to buy

AMain carry the Protek version which is the same. |
Pro Amps do a 4000 Lipo and LRP do a 4600 which all fit in the MO5 and MO3. Depends on how much you want to spend on batteries and whether you prefer deans plugs, corally plugs or the standard tamiya plugs. Most replace the Tamiya plugs with a Deans. The 3800 IP is a good battery also. With the corally plugs just make sure you do not reverse polarity them or else your ESC will let out the smoke quickly.
