but anything can run and do good in USVTA racing - that's they point of this class...it doesn't have to be latest and greatest, sure the newest chassis get you better part support and setup for BL and lipo, but any chassis can compete

That is VERY good news to me. My son and I are running TC4's in touring and Vintage.

I just wanted to make sure , to not waste time on an outdated design. We will stick with the TC4's.

A 47/76 will get you a 4.07 FDR on the TC3/4's. You will have to dremel out some of the ribs under the pinion to get them to clear, couple minutes tops, and your good to go.

Its been a few years since I ran VTA and cant seem to find anything on the rules, or i missed it, but is there an FDR limit, requirement....etc?

no FDR limit...but 4.0 is a good start...

ok thank you. My car came set up for VTA already and seems to run real nice but Ill check the gearing in it and see where its at. Thanks again
