Finally back from the nats after a full day of delayed flights yesterday. Billy and my cars were both awesome, but to put it lightly, I don't think either of us have ever had such bad luck in the mains. Billy didn't get to finish even 1 main due to fluke luck, and in both classes I only managed to finish 1 of the 3 mains.

I learned a ton about the car this past week though, so despite the pretty bad finishing positions in my mains, I am definately glad I was there. I definately had a car that was capable of a top 5 finish in modified, and in super stock I had a car that was capable of the win. The S400 was once again dialed.

Randy,

Great job to both you and Billy at the Nats. Did you guys change much on the cars from previous setups?

Thanks!

My setup changed a ton for this race, it is much more aggressive with quite a bit less traction than the previous setups, this track had some very high speed areas that lead into hairpin turns, so I basically had to make the car turn on a dime.

I don't think I've seen Billy run the same setup twice, he is always tweaking and trying to improve his car. I am quite opposite of that, I make a lot of changes at 1 time to the car to try to get the feel I want, and then I tune my driving to that setup.

For the nats we used 6 cell packs, so I used the Orion Vortex 4.5 and the new 4600SHO batteries.

I'm sure if you parted out the gear diffs they would sell pretty quick.. PM me if you decide to.

Randy,

Another great show for the S400... If you get a chance can you post your newest 19t setup for us all to have a look at? Cheers.
