Cars are same as well. Simply people wanted a black carbon instead of silver ones.
No release date for a molded chasis but Yokomo is aware of our demands.

Any suggestions on whether to lubricate the ring gear/drive gears? I was thinking of just a little of the white diff grease (or associated stealth lube - they seem the same), or maybe some Tamiya ceramic grease. Any suggestions?

Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.
Ran another 4 packs yesterday with much more encouraging results.
I am now getting frequent laps in the late 23s with old packs and did a 23.3 with a good pack, also taking some 10 seconds off the 5 minute race time - and this with 5 other stocks on the track.
Strangely the lower I gear it the quicker it is. It is also remarkable free, and I never bothered cleaning out the bearings, just put more running time into the car to let it work itself free.
I am now finally feeling that running the SD is actually going to give me an advantage which guys without an SD just don't have. What a fabulous feeling.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.

Well I've got some hardcore setup work to do on mine.
Took it to a very slippy floor indoor track last night, my old club, but I hadn't been for a long time.
The car was a total PIG.
Something about the standard settings mean it breaks away the tail end incredibly easily, and uncontrollably, combined with hardcore understeer as well. All I changed was springs, experimenting with harder and softer settings.
I let other (better) drivers try it as well, and they agreed.
I'd noticed the origins of this trait on a grippier slippy floor, where it was prone to losing the tail if you lost momentum, but last night was rotten.
So far the car's got worse for me with every meeting, I'll turn it around though.
