That's a pretty fancy TC-3. Oh, right. It's a broke-omo.

TC3 A arms are not any better ;). Then again, AE and Yokomo are associated with one another (especially the case in japan where yokomo carries AE products in its catalog).

hope they release more info on the car. b day coming up for me :-D

Yokomo Japan retail: 39000 yen or about $331. Looks a lot like the Tamiya EVO III.

Never owned a Yok. Do they have a rep as easy to break?

STLNLST 03-02-2003 10:15 AM

if the new cars don't have droop screws then what's the point of it coming out???? Cool they went with a shaft drive but hopefully they add some things that current TC's have or it will just be a special with a shaft.

i never owned a yok too but i had been told that the first mr4s had fragile arms but after yokomo released different styles of arms (softer made of nylon, others made of carbon fiber ....) so the problem were solved, i guess that they will do the same with the SD

stlnlst- it was confirmed by yokomo usa that the car will have droop screws. more details this week

STLNLST 03-02-2003 11:19 AM

The MR4TC Custom in our club has taken a lot of abuse - no problems.

ImGoinRCn 03-02-2003 08:15 PM

I very rarely break anything on my yokomo. My son is very hard on his yoke and he doesn't break very often but I see a lot of tc3's going out with something broke. I hope this new car comes to the US b/c I have a birthday soon also and that would be a nie b-day gift :D
