Matt this is STLNLST....are you racing next weekend? We really got the crowd going this weekend with the smack talk. Now they're going to expect us to battle to the death Dujuan and Mike See are going to come out next weekend too. Should be fun if the weather isn't in the triple digits. If that's the case count us out. See ya then.

Default Mid-turn understeer

Hi guys,

I raced with my SD yesterday and I was very happy with the setup of the car. Very easy and smooth to drive. The only thing
I couldnīt get rid of was some mid-turn understeer.
Turn-in and corner exit were quite perfect.

Drove the car with 2 diffs. no swaybars. rear:green springs
front: yellow, 40wt f+r, 3 degree rear toe-in.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
IH

IH, try going to 2 degree of rear toe-in or a green front spring.

Jeff,

The over- all car felt pretty good just the rear of the car was a little loose. I took the rear sway bar after the last race.
What set up did you use at Mike's track and spur gear.

Hello folks,

The kit included some extra spacers, are those to be used to raise the front roll center and rear roll center? You just place them under the hinge mounts/ suspension mounts.

Yodace, I used the spacers included in the kit. Just remove the screws and slide the washer under the mount...real simple tuning change, make sure you readjust droop.

The changes I made to my car are for a concrete surface with less bite then Mike's. I ran Gold front, Blue rear with 40wt. at Mike's. I think if you try the roll center change you will be pretty happy!
