Dan How do you make the decision to run 54999 or 54995?

Thanks!

I ran 54999 the majority of the time on black carpet. I found them to be of very good grip despite the high wear. 54995 may be a good choice on the rear if the carpet is lower traction or ambient temp is cold. At least where I raced it, they were not too necessary.

I don't have any experience with these tires on asphalt.

umm you asked if there is a difference. I confirmed they are 2 different compounds, therefore there is a difference. So I actually answered your question.

if you want to know the difference between the compounds, contact

Intrested in a m08 car. Big difficulty between the concept and the R?
price wise yes lol.
Local club runs a mini class and maybe I could run it during tcs races too.
I know big diffrence between the 4wd m chassis cars and the 2wd 1/12 pan cars but really like those too so hard to choose.

All done.. Looking forward to getting it on the track. Also the "grub-spec" body came yesterday as well. Eager to get that painted.

Got the diff installed yesterday. it not leaking that a bonus right? and sway bars are up next to install. but want to run the M08 without them *swaybars see if there's any difference made.

What sway bar stiffness do you guys run on black carpet? to get the rear end to keep the from spinning out the car and an other setup tips?

Also going to be try Volante tires.

How much rigidity did those aluminum standoffs add to the chassis?

On black carpet, think the last nationals and regionals in Omaha 2023 were all M08 on top 5.

Asphalt may be the complete opposite with the M07 dominant but I could be wrong.

If there is an actual performance difference, I'm nowhere near a good enough driver to tell.
