Which swaybar are you using? The blue one does have a habit of binding if you crank the swaybar holder screws (philips ones, not hex) down too much. Just disconnect the ends and tighten each philips screw until it doesn't move freely then back it off.

Finally got the bug body painted. Its actually on an M05 since I didn't want to convert my M08 to the short wheelbase. The eyes are just sharpie marker until I can get some stick on googly eyes.

Looking forward to raceday!

I am using the red one with the hex hardware from since the M08R came with the hex hardware.

For those that like something different like the Renault 5 Turbo but dislike the way the wheels hide in the body because the body is so wide at the rear.

I installed:
53500
54610
54969
9804700

all Tamiya parts but now my rear is almost 180mm wide and fills up the body well.

Will test it out on next run. Currently my M07 and M08 are running similar times. A bit faster with the M08 but more consistent with M07 with a bit of luck this gives me a more solid rear, and if not the Renault 5 turbo just looks fun nd different.

The biggest benefit and reason why I got these was that it was easier/safer to quickly change wheelbase as I was less likely to ruin the threat with the Blue alu than the plastic kit stuff.

Ready for the race, love the short wide look of it.

Ok…I have a 07. Just got a second hand (but new) 08.

question?

is the consensus alum Front 0 degree “bulkhead” and 07 C hubs and spindles?

is this all that’s needed?

thanks

track is smooth asphalt if that matters

Spindles are the same. The M07 C hub is 0 degree. You will need a 4, 5 or 6 degree caster plate.

All the M08 or M07 caster plates are interchangeable between platforms.
